Yvonne Wang is an art writer, curator, and producer, as well as Singapore Desk Editor at ArtAsiaPacific. She has written for Frieze, The Art Newspaper, Art SG, The Culture Story, Asia Art Archive’s IDEAS Journal, and Art & Market. Her work spans criticism, curatorial writing, and public programmes, from commissioned texts to moderating conversations with artists, curators, and cultural practitioners.
She curated Seeing Through Matter (2025) at Sullivan+Strumpf Singapore and is a producer on the documentary film Almost Home (directed by Jiang Wenjie) for which she contributed English subtitles. The film was selected for the 2026 Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF).
Alongside her writing and curatorial work, she advises select art platforms and institutions across the Asia-Pacific on strategic communications and cultural positioning, and serves on LASALLE’s Industry Advisory Group for Art Histories and Curatorial Practices.
She holds an MA in Asian Art Histories from Goldsmiths, University of London, and an MSc in Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics. Her interdisciplinary training informs a practice attentive to systems, structures, and the material conditions shaping contemporary art.
